Why am I alone here? I didn't ask to be alone
I'm afraid to be alone
Why won't you look at me? Have I upset you?
I'm afraid to be alone
Why won't you touch me? Have I done something?
I'm afraid to be alone
Where are they taking me? Why don't you want me?!
I'm afraid to be alone
Why are those children with you? Why am I not?
I'm afraid to be alone

Who are these people? They say I am chosen to be their own
but i'm not theirs
I'm afraid to be alone
Who are these people? They say call us mom and dad
but they aren't
I'm afraid to be alone

I am alone
I belong with no one
abandoned by my mother
embraced by another
I am alone
I walk alone
